great product.
works great. Just be careful not to accidentally throw away the infuser when you dump out the leaves.

Awesome tea brewer
Its basically a miniature drip filter, or inverted french press (both I use for making tea). I like iced tea, and so this is perfect for me. I fill a tall glass with ice, brew up some hot tea in the adiago and then filter it directly into my iced tea cup.
I got this as a present about 3 years ago and have used it almost every day since then. It's slightly tea stained, but cleans up great. The removable, permanent filter is awesome, and doesn't get clogged ever. Has worked like a charm for easily 1000 uses without any change in function.
I'm curious to know if it is made of BPA plastic or not, but other than that I love it!

Marshall C asked on Mar 08, 2007:

Do stainless steel tea infusers add a metallic taste to loose leaf tea?

eunosgirl answered:
I have never noticed a "metallic" taste when using a metal infuser.
LilyGirl asked on Nov 20, 2009:

How do I choose and use a tea infuser?

singletrack65 answered:
I'm not a big fan of infusers as tea expands when wet and it needs room to circulate the water for proper flavor extraction. If you use an infuser, shake it in the sink to knock out the tiny dust that gets in your cup. This will reduce the residue at the bottom.

The standard amount of tea is one teaspoon (that's why they call it that). Don't use a tsp measure, use an actual spoon. What fits on it when you scoop it up is what you need. If you steep it in a pot like I do, you put one tsp per cup and "one for the pot". Then I pour it into the cup through a fine strainer.
Mallory asked on Jan 09, 2010:

How do I use tea infusers instead of tea bags (link)?

Bob Zaunere answered:
Pretty much the same as a tea bag. Drop it in the bottom of the cup, pour hot water over it, let it sit for a few minutes and remove the bag with a spoon.
