Great value for the price!
I'm so pleased I purchased this as my first juicer. It's proven to be very powerful, and juices everything I toss into it with ease. The pulp is nice and dry, and the clean-up isn't too bad. There are very few parts, so keeping track of those has also been easy. My only complaints? The noise - because it's so powerful, it can be quite loud. I do not juice early in the AM as a result. And sometimes, dependent upon what I'm juicing, it can get a little leaky (mostly when juicing water-rich fruits and veggies). Overall, an excellent value, and I've already gotten my money's worth!

Great Juicer!
I haven't used my juicer yet. HOWEVER, everyone I know who has one LOVES it and, one of the reasons I got it is because almost all the reviews were positive and even better than the bigger juicer of the same brand.

good buy
I had the Jack LaLanne juicer which I hated. So I bought this one, it is very easy to clean, and you can juice whole vegetables at a time without having to spend time cutting them up first. My only complaint is having to clean it after each use. I have to really scrub the blade, and I am juicing 3 times a day. Other than that, it is fabulous. There are very few parts and it is easy to assemble and take apart. I would recommend.

I bought a Jack La lane juicer and it works pretty good.I don't use it all the time but when I do it doesn't disapoint.They come with a recipe book.I personally think the Carrot juice one is the best.

Any centrifuge juicer should be able to handle leafy vegetables just fine. The Jack LaLanne juicer is a centrifuge juicer. There are other brands out there and you should shop around. The thing to remember about juicers is this: The ones made out of plastic parts will not last as long. The cheapest I've seen are the "Juice Man" brand juicers. I think they start at about $60. I've seen the really good metal juicers top out at $1,200.

There are also hand-cranked wheat grass juicers that work well on wheat grass and leafy greens but do not work with hard veggies.
