Customer Reviews:
So many sizes, how can you go wrong
This product is a must have for baking. It's a wonderful product that cuts great. I have a few of the sets, it's nice having the same great cutters in incrementing sizes. Normally I would rummage through my cookie cutter collection (try saying that 5 times fast!) to find similar shapes but they would never be just right. But this is the exact same cutter but bigger/smaller. So I can either make different sizes of the same EXACT shape. Or I can make the outline of the shape by using one cutter, and then a smaller one to cut out the center (and you can make it thick or thin buy using 1-step down or 2). And then I can add an even smaller shape within that outline by using another size down (like to make an eye, for instance).
And I love that it comes in its own little tin. Great product. I have not seen it rust yet, but from other reviews I will try to be more cautious. I like these A LOT better than most plastic ones (and I have not seen a quality plastic set like this) so I would rather take the time out to dry these than to resort to plastic.

Kitchen cutter set.
This set is perfect. There is every size you could possible need to make anything from cookies, to biscuits, to whatever your imagination can dream up. Haven't have a problem w/sticking and cleans up great in the dishwasher.

Great cutters
These cutters are great. My only complaint is that it would be helpful to have the size of each cutter on the actual cutter. Right now I have to use a ruler to figure out if it's going to cut 1/2 inch, 1 inch, 1/4 inch, etc. very frustrating, but the quality is really good and they make great cuts.

Cookie Cutters..?

junebug answered:
I wouldn't use plastic cutters on the stove. Instead make your pancakes and after they are cooked, then use the cookie cutter to cut out your shape. If the cookie cutter is thin and doesn't look like it would go through the pancake without totally flattening it, then trace the shape on a piece of paper, lay the paper on top of the cooked pancake and with a sharp knife, but around the pattern.

Not on the stove but they should cut through the pancakes..and if they don't do it neatly, take a small sharp knife and run it around the inside of the cutter. Have a good day!

The second one is really cheap. Only $1.25 per set. There are 3 cookie cutters per set. All I did was search "baby shower cookie cutters" and found lots of stuff.
M2S asked on Apr 25, 2008:

Can you use cookie cutters with any type of cookie?

Willow Natalia answered:
Cookie cutters are usually used for things like sugar cookies, or any rolled cookie. Still, I think that chocolate chip or peanut butter cookies would be cute when done with a cookie cutter. They're not usually rolled out, but I don't see why one couldn't.
